ATTENTION UNIX & LINUX USERS - Remember to install the Common Files package first

* Unix users must install the Common Files package (including source, documentation, and development tree). Next, individual packages (platform-specific binaries and executables) can be downloaded for desired platforms and uncompressed from the same level. For instance:

    cd /usr/local
    tar zxf hoops_3daf1410_common.tar.gz
    tar zxf hoops_3daf1410_linux.tar.gz
