1.0 Introduction
The HOOPS 3D Application Framework comes with
both Windows-specific and cross-platform pre-compiled Reference Applications
which are built on various components of the framework. The Reference
Applications demonstrate the functionality of the HOOPS/3dAF across Windows,
UNIX and LINUX platforms in both desktop and browser-based environments. In
addition, they may serve as an extensible base architecture for new applications.
Source code for the Reference Applications
is provided as part of the development system, and developers are free
to use any part of the reference code in their application. (Note: clear
source is provided only for the HOOPS/MVO classes and the user interface
parts of the Reference Application. The HOOPS/3dgs and HOOPS/GM Bridge
libraries are supplied in object form.)
