2.0 Enhancements

Enhancements to Existing Opcodes

The following opcodes have been enhanced to support new features within 3dGS for the current major release:

TKE_Heuristics: this opcode has been modified to support the new segment level culling vector, segment-level selection, maximum extent mode and static model options.
TKE_Infinite_Line: this new opcode was added to support infinite lines.
TKE_Reference: this new opcode was added to support geometry reference.
TKE_Rendering_Options: this opcode has been modified to support the new segment-level display lists, screen range, shadow map, simple reflection and stereo viewing.
TKE_Visibility: this opcode has been modified to support the new shadow map feature.
TKE_Texture: this opcode has been modified to support the new skybox feature.
TKE_Window_Frame: this opcode has been modified to support the inset and decorative suboptions.
TKE_Window_Pattern: this opcode has been modified to support the new invisible option.

The following opcodes have been enhanced to support new features within 3dGS for the 16.10 point release:

TKE_Geometry_Options: this new opcode was added to support infinite rays.

TKE_Infinite_Ray: this new opcode was added to support transformable lines.

TKE_Rendering_Options: this opcode has been modified to support the new transparency z-sort options.

Please refer to the appropriate 3dGS Reference Manual entry for details on the various options for each one of these opcodes.

Performance Enhancements

There were enhancements made for loading HSF data.
